Timeline

May 25th, 2017

Today we started our research for our ESLP project.   We had recently seen a really cool article on Bees, and decided to make a garden that had plants that would invite bees to our campus garden.  We learned that bees love Lavender, Mint, Rosemary, and Marigolds.  

May 26th, 2017

We went to our local Home Depot to see if they carried the types of plants we were hoping to use in our garden.

May 28th, 2017

We made our budget statement for how much all of our materials would cost.  We hoped to keep our project pretty cheap because we were the ones paying for the materials.

May 29th, 2017

We went to Home Depot to buy all of our materials.  We were able to keep our materials under our budget.  We took all of our materials home and planned what we wanted it to look like. 

May 30th, 2017

We began to shape our planter garden.  We chose to mix the colors around to make it as visually pleasing as possible.  We also wanted to add a sign that showed what kinds of plants were inside our garden.

May 31st, 2017

We put any finishing touches on our garden that we thought we needed.  We then started working on our website.  We made sure to have all of the parts needed.

June 2nd, 2017

We moved our Bee Garden into our Willow Glen garden.  We put any finishing touches we needed on our website and turned everything in.
